This class is designed for children that have passed our swingers or mini-swingers
class. The difference of the mini and non-mini classes are the time allotted to the
class. Our mini-glider class lasts 1 hour, while our regular glider classes are 1 1/2 hour
long. This is due to the childrens' ages and attention spans. Most of the children under
the age of 7 cannot stay focused for more than an hour, although there are some
exceptions. This is also that the class continues to be enjoyable for them at such a
young age. This class works on back and front walkovers, back handsprings, and
round off back handsprings. There are more tumbling skills worked on the balance
beam, bar skills now are being learned on the high bar, vault skills require more body
control and speed. At the end of the session your child will receive an evaluation skill
sheet so you may see their progress.

This class is designed for children that have completed our flipper level. This class
is designed for children who have accomplished their "flipping" skills, and are now
trying to do a flip with a twist in it. By the time children are in this level they have
either decided not to be in a competitive team or they have been in a competitive
team at one time, and are now only able to give a 1 1/2 hour time slot once a week
to still have "fun" and learn. This level is definitely the most difficult, as well as the
most exciting. Unfortunately, we normally do not have enough children to make only
a "twister " class, since most children at this caliber decide to be on our competitive
squads. This class may be combined with flippers and possibly gliders, but they will
definitely be challenged, as well as be a role model for the others in the lower levels.
